Position Summary:

The Director of Operations – Warehousing & Distribution provides operational leadership across our multi-site Warehousing & Distribution network.

This position may be based in the Pennsylvania/New Jersey area at one of the following locations: West Chester, PA; Allentown, PA; or Westhampton, NJ

Reporting to the Vice President of Warehousing & Distribution, this role is responsible for translating business strategy into consistent operational execution across the network. The Director will lead facility operations, develop site leadership, drive performance and accountability, and ensure our operations deliver on safety, service, productivity, quality, and financial expectations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced multi-site operator who can move comfortably between the warehouse floor, operational data, financial performance, customer needs, and senior-level business discussions.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide operational leadership across multiple Warehousing & Distribution facilities and develop a high-performing team of facility leaders
• Translate business-unit strategy and priorities into actionable operating plans and measurable results
• Establish a consistent operating cadence and accountability structure across the network
• Drive performance across safety, service, staff productivity, inventory accuracy, quality, capacity utilization, cost, and profitability
• Analyze operational and financial performance, identify gaps, and lead corrective action when expectations are not being met
• Coach and develop facility leadership while building a strong pipeline of future operational leaders
• Drive standardization, continuous improvement, and sharing of best practices across the network
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and margin through process improvement, technology, automation, staff optimization, and facility utilization
• Partner with Sales, Solutions, Finance, IT, Engineering, Transportation, Human Resources, and Safety to support business objectives
• Provide operational leadership for new customer implementations, facility startups, expansions, and significant operational transitions
• Support customer relationships and lead resolution of significant operational escalations
• Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into network performance, risks, opportunities, and resource requirements

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

• Progressive leadership experience within warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, 3PL, supply chain, or a comparable operating environment
• Demonstrated success leading multiple facilities and operational leaders
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, staff management, inventory control, safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgets, P&L performance, forecasting, and operational cost drivers
• Proven ability to develop leaders and build accountable, high-performing teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Experience with WMS platforms, operational reporting, and technology-enabled process improvement
• Experience supporting startups, implementations, expansions, or major operational change preferred
• Ability to travel throughout the Warehousing & Distribution network as required
