Position Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is a member of A. Duie Pyle’s centralized Enterprise BI team — a cross-functional group that serves as the organization’s data and reporting resource. This role partners with all four operating divisions (LTL, Dedicated, Warehouse, and Brokerage), along with Finance, HR, Sales, and IT, to support enterprise reporting initiatives, improve data accessibility, and enhance business processes through reporting and analytics solutions.

This position will play a key role in developing and maintaining enterprise reporting solutions while helping business units expand self-service analytics capabilities through Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver who is comfortable working with data, learning business processes, and translating business needs into effective reporting solutions.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing operational and financial reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and SSRS
  • Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards, reporting solutions, and reusable datasets that support enterprise reporting, data governance initiatives, and self-service analytics across business units
  • Assisting in the continued development of Pyle’s Microsoft Fabric data warehouse and enterprise reporting environment
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the organization to gather reporting requirements and deliver reliable, user-friendly reporting solutions
  • Supporting and train business users on Power BI reporting tools, self-service analytics capabilities, and available reporting resources
  • Assisting in establishing and promoting data governance standards, reporting best practices, and consistent KPI definitions across the organization
  • Troubleshooting reporting and data-related issues while helping users better understand available data and reporting tools
  • Communicating reporting changes, enhancements, and business requirements effectively through verbal and written documentation
  • Partnering collaboratively with operations, leadership, and support teams to improve reporting processes and data visibility

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, or in lieu of a degree, 4–5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with Power BI, SQL Server, Excel, and related reporting tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud-based data platforms preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
